Every trip has one afternoon too few. These 6 full-day tours justify the slot, priced and timed so the decision takes minutes rather than an evening.
Travel by coach from central Brussels to Antwerp and Ghent with an English or Spanish-speaking guide. Expect guided walks, free time for lunch and shopping, an Atomium photo stop, Rubens in Antwerp, and Van Eyck’s Adoration of the Mystic Lamb in Ghent.

Travel from Amsterdam to Bruges by air-conditioned coach with an English or Spanish-speaking guide. See Burg Square, Sint Salvator’s Cathedral, Church of Our Lady, and the canals, then enjoy free time for chocolate, lunch, shopping, and perhaps a boat ride.

Spend one long Sunday touring Bruges and Ghent by train from Brussels. An English, French, or Spanish-speaking guide leads walks past canals, guildhalls, churches, Gravensteen Castle, and the Beguinage. Guides Louise and Heloise have been praised for lively, personal commentary.

“A good day but a) spent far too little time at each place to be able to listen, photograph and read all the information there and b) very frustrating that the guide didn't wait for everyone to get off coach before he started his talk- I probably missed at least 1/3 of his chat. Would have been 5s all round if we had had more time AND ear buds- then everyone could have heard everything he said at all times.”
